Our first WA Women in GIS & Technology (WWGT) social hour of 2021 is here! Yep, I know it has been a crazy time and you may be feeling anxious, exhausted, overwhelmed, and having a hard time keeping up on the current COVID protocols and you are not alone. You may also be ready for a break, so why not spend a beautiful summer’s night outside on a farm sipping cider and eating pizza with friends? OH Yes! Sign me up! 😊
We will be meeting at 5PM on Thursday August 12th at Cockrell Hard Cider & Farm. Cockrell is a small cidery dedicated to handcrafted artisan cider. They use only local fruit including their own from their farm in Puyallup. The Sirius Wood Fired Pizza food truck will also be there from 4-7pm.
This place has lots of outdoor seating and room to socially distance. We will be following the COVID protocols established by the place so please bring a mask (as you may need one when you order drinks inside the tasting room). If anything changes before then, we will let you know.
